Project overview
pingNpay is building a global payments network for low value payments especially those below £10/$10/€10 to allow retailers and ecommerce providers to unlock new services that are otherwise uneconomic using traditional payment systems such as card networks.
Quick onboarding
Avoiding excessive details, the prompts on the onboarding pages enable users to get acquainted with the basic functionalities. There are pages explaining to customers how to: buy content; pay with trusted digital money; live a digital life.
The challenge & solution
The main use cases of the pingNpay application were:
sending and receiving secure payments both directly and by using links as well as QR codes;
developing fast, secure, and reliable AWS services in conjunction with the Amplify framework.
We have used the Amplify toolset framework to implement the GraphQL communication with the AWS services and the Cognito user authentication.
Show your QR code & Scan to pay
The QR code function can be quickly accessed and the user can choose either to Scan the QR code, or Show the QR code. The user can select the following options for sending or receiving funds: static QR; dynamic QR; permanent link.
Contacts list
The “Contacts” section contains a list of all user contacts and favorites.
Transactions history
Users can receive information about all the monetary operations for a selected period of time.
Receive payment request
The pingNpay mobile app allows submitting requests both for payments and refunds.
Chrome extension
We have developed a browser extension that gives users access to the same functionality as the mobile app. In this way we enable our users to accomplish their tasks even in the browser.
Technologies
We used the Flutter and Dart technological stack to meet the project objectives. This way, we implemented a set of extra monetary instruments and regulations in the pingNpay software solution.
